Equinoxx Stage 3 Factoids #1 of 5: It Really Does Keep You Warm in Cold Weather

Many people find it hard to believe a garment that provides the freedom of movement of a shirt can really keep them warm in cold winter weather. Here's what Stage 3 customers say:

The Stage 3 thermal mock provides full thermal coverage of the torso, except for the core, that’s covered by your body armor. Tight wrist cuffs prevent cold air from running up your arms, and the mock design protects your neck. When you’re wearing body armor, you need to breathe at the core. So the material covering this area is highly breathable and moisture-wicking.

Innovative Design & Materials

Stage 3 has a temperature rating of 15 degrees fahrenheit, -9.45 degrees celsius. The material that provides full thermal coverage has three separate layers that are heat-pressed together. While the outer two layers block wind and resist water, the inner layer is a grid design using fleece. It helps retain your body’s self-generated heat by trapping it within the grooves of the grid design.
