Comfortable and definitely a good value. I typically walk a beat in San Francisco for at least three hour periods, sometimes in cold foggy conditions and sometimes in hot sunny conditions. My undershirt was always soaked when I took of my vest at the conclusion of any shift, irrespective of the weather. The Maxx-Dri vest is a wonderful addition to my uniform as it increases the general comfort of wearing the ballistic vest all day, and the improved air-flow keeps my undershirt dry on all but the warmest days when I'd be sweating in just a t-shirt and shorts anyway. Maxx-Dri is well worth the cost, and it can be machine washed very easily.

Where has this product been my whole career? This is hands down the best new product for comfort I've seen in years. So many other companies have tried but 221b tactical have done it. I've been recommending this and have actually lent it out on my days off for others to try. Look forward to wearing my vest

Great product, you can feel the difference. I would suggest wearing dri-wick (under armor) type undershirt. I have worn both the 5.11 cotton and Under Armor. The UA is more comfortable.

Police officer approved!!! So, I've been a member for almost a decade. I have always had issues with my vest, especially during the hot summer months. I live in a very hot climate in southern Alberta and the day shifts are almost unbearable. I am also unfortunately required to wear long sleeve shirts due to an archaic policy...but I digress. I found myself getting red rashes all over my chest from the constant heat and moisture that was trapped under my vest. These rashes turned to dry spots and became very itchy and uncomfortable. I purchased the Maxx-Dri and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. The vest doesn't prevent me from sweating but allows air to blow through my shirt and keep me dry...and comfortable. I've bought more vests and given them to 2 of my coworkers and they have come to the same conclusion...This is a great product!!

Worth the money. This is a great product. Makes wearing a vest much more comfortable. You feel cooler and your under shirt is more dry after shift.

Fantastic. Keeps me cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Does a great job keeping the air circulating. I still sweat some but nowhere near what I did without it. My only complaint is the price. But overall I'm happy with it.

It did bulk my vest out a little but, but working 12 hour shifts, the (Maxx-Dri) comfort vest made me a lot more comfortable. I would highly recommend to allow circulation under your bulletproof vest.

Great buy. I'll keep it simple, it's worth it. It wont keep you completely dry, and it won't magically lower your body temperature. But it does a good job of creating some space between you and your vest to help with air flow. I've worn the vest for 2 weeks now and while at first it was a bit cumbersome to put on as well, I can't imagine not using it. It doesn't add too much bulk, light weight, and has a quality feel. The customer service is also excellent! Extremely quick responses, representatives are friendly, polite, and professional, and the company will work with you as much as they can. Happy with my purchase.

12/4/15: I just wanted your company to know I was recently given the under tank / shirt that goes between my vest and body. I contracted MRCA/staph infection while investigation a triple stabbing scene. After returning to patrol I started wearing my ballistic vest everyday. Because of the heat and moisture in Florida (and because I am now a carrier of MRCA) I started getting recurring infections.
